Job Description

Project Engineer - Project Manager - Technical - Amazing SME needs an experienced Project Manager who can speak Engineer to improve processes, own the projects and deliver on time every time! This is an exciting new role for a very dynamic engineering business with some stunning solutions and A list customers. Due to demand and growth, a Project Engineer / Project Manager is needed to oversee all projects and report to the MDWicked salary and package and an even better opportunity - Flexibility is required as site visits (poss Europe) and HQ visits are required but. This is another belter of a home based / remote position.Main Purpose of RoleThe Project Manager will be the main points of contact between the Company and its customers. This role is responsible for Project Management that involves site management, scheduling and labour. Projects need to be delivered on time and within budget.Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way
  • Liaise with key company employees to arrange for labour on site for controls install and build supervision
  • Identify and analyse how builds can run more efficiently to help reduce cost and customer downtime
  • Attend meetings to update customer on project timelines and any issues and how we intend to resolve these
  • Co-ordinate with procurement and warehouse to ensure all goods are ready for site and start date
  • Undertake any other reasonable management request, which may from time to time be reasonably required.
  • Undertake any prescribed training, either formal or on the job, as required by the company
  • Travel is essential as many sites are in Europe, US and Canada
  1. We need you to have strong Project Management experience
  2. Ability and desire to lead and improve, manage direct and motivate
  3. A technical / engineering background or qualification
  4. A SME mentality - Get stuck in, make changes and make a difference
