Job Description

Our client, a public sector organisation based in Glasgow/Edinburgh, are currently seeking various Project Coordinators initially on a 6 month basis with the potential to extend.This attracts a day rate of £243 (inside IR35) umbrellaThis role operates in a hybrid setting with 1 - 2 days a week in an office location.Main responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with teams / functionalities and external partners. This will involve leading on arrangements for key meetings by coordinating meeting agendas and papers, taking minutes and monitoring progress of agreed actions;
  • Support on a wide range of team activities required to support regular senior engagements, including collation of information, chasing of actions and updating plans
  • Support with the control of all documentation and file management of joint products and documentation
  • Provide advice and guidance on the function of the Project Engagement Team, including supporting internal communications
  • Support the team with preparation for delivery updates for internal boards
  • Provide support to the Product Leads as directed to ensure the effective management of day to day activities within the team that support the devolution of three disability benefits.
  • Lead on key work streams for ongoing support of delivery activities such as strategic finance impacting and/or management of joint strategic design assumptions/statements
Essential Skills:
  • Strong organisational skills, adaptable and able to deliver to agreed timescales and deadlines.
  • Able to build professional relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders in order to drive delivery.
  • They must be able to work as part of this evolving team, while being comfortable working alone on key work streams.
  • Able to identify and source relevant information to produce concise, well-structured and accurate written and numerical work.
  • Must be willing to be flexible and adaptable in the role and not afraid of change or uncertainty as the role develops
  • Experienced in maintaining project documentation within or alongside project delivery
  • Experienced in PMO role or sound knowledge of PMO functions.
  • Experienced in use of Miro, JIRA/Confluence & Visio
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office systems, particularly MS Teams, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
This role requires you hold a Basic Police Act Disclosure.
