Project CoordinatorCambuslang£35,000 - £40,000Do you want to work in a thriving business and contribute to huge projectsSearch are partnered with a succeeding utilities business to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator. The company, securing multiple contracts, seeks an organised, detail-oriented professional to contribute to their success. We are looking for a Project Coordinator who is confident liaising with Distribution Network Operators and Independent Distribution Network Operators. It is critical that all applying have experience within the utilities industry.On a typical day you will oversee company projects from start to finish. This role will include interaction with engineers, suppliers, and staff. The successful candidate should be professional and presentable throughout their working day.* Mon - Fri: 08:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours)Benefits:* Company pension* Private Healthcare after probation* Company Bonus Scheme* On-site parkingMain duties include:* Confidently engage with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs) to facilitate seamless collaboration* Collaborate with councils to efficiently manage logistical aspects, including road closures, electricity disruptions, water interruptions, and other necessary arrangement* Generate comprehensive reports and regular updates for the project manager and other members of the management team, ensuring transparent and effective communication channels* Implement strategies to ensure projects are completed in the most cost-efficient and effective manner, optimising resources and minimising unnecessary expenses* Demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying challenges and making informed decisions to overcome obstacles during the project lifecycle* Maintain a keen focus on the quality of project deliverables, ensuring that they meet or exceed established standards and expectations* Actively seek opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management processes* Ensure that all aspects of projects comply with relevant regulations and standards, demonstrating a commitment to legal and ethical considerations* Maintain accurate and organised project documentation, creating a comprehensive record of project activities, decisions, and outcomesThe ideal candidate:* Has excellent communication skills * Has excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages* Is an experienced Project Coordinator* Is capable of organising and prioritising personal workload* Must have experience liaising with DNOs and IDNOs* Must have previous utilities experienceYou must be experienced in the utilities to apply for this role.
