Job Description

PMO Project Co-ordinator / Project Management Officer with experience in a similar PMO role, strong written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of project management tools and processes is required for a well-establishedand leading digital technology company.SALARY: Competitive + Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Hybrid split between the office in Glasgow, Scotland and working from homeJOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-timeJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a PMO Project Co-ordinator / Project Management Officer with experience in a similar PMO role, strong written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of project management tools and processes.As the PMO Project Co-ordinator / Project Management Officer your primary function will be the timely presentation of project information to leadership within the company on significant projects and initiatives across their key practices.Working as the PMO Project Co-ordinator / Project Management Officer you will be responsible for collecting data from relevant tools and systems (e.g. CRM/Time booking), liaising with Project Managers, Sales and Finance teams to update reports and releaseinformation to meet the monthly reporting timetable. The role covers project set up tasks, project status reporting and assisting with activities around project delivery, issue management and project close out tasks.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the PMO Project Co-ordinator / Project Management Officer include:

  • Extract project milestones from plans to provide a programme-wide view of deliverables
  • Work with the Finance team on project reporting
  • Report on slippage to programme and cross-programme deliverables, highlighted by Project Managers, weekly or ad-hoc
  • Quality assurance - ensure Project Managers are using established templates and standard practices
  • Update weekly project status reports via proactive engagement with Project Managers
  • Record and maintain action logs on daily or weekly programme reviews
  • Chase action owners and escalate to Head of PMO as required
  • Set up and manage Team sites, maintain contact lists
  • Preparing and maintaining schedules for project and/or programme and/or portfolio activities and events, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements
  • Prepare project status reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support to the Project Managers and Account Managers on the production of client quotations and Change Requests during the project
  • Assist Project Managers with the tracking and reporting of project time and budget spent, highlighting deviations from agreed tolerance
  • Assist Project Managers with effective project conclusion, including handover to Support, and ensure lessons learned are recorded
  • Provides administrative services to project boards
  • KPI reporting for the leadership team
  • Undertake all mandatory company training within the timescales provided
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in a similar PMO role
  • Confident working with the MS Office suite, PowerPoint, excel, etc
  • Experience or exposure to Power BI reporting would be advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understands and integrates appropriate project management tools and processes
  • Planning skills including ability to define and fulfil task and schedules to an established business rhythm
  • Understanding of a Professional Services/Digital solutions environment highly desirable
