Job Description

Programme Manager - Glasgow - HybridA Programme Manager role that is all about saving lives and making a difference in the world through technology!Are you ready to lead complex clinical studies and make a significant impact in the healthcare technology industry Join our client, an award-winning HealthTech tech scaleup, on a mission to revolutionize healthcare through innovation and technology. Asa Program, youll play a pivotal role in advancing their organizations groundbreaking solutions.Our client is an industry-leading HealthTech scaleup experiencing rapid growth, with ambitious plans to double in size by the end of next year. As a Program Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Director of Operationsto drive their clinical research initiatives forward. This role offers a clear career progression path to CPO.Role Overview:As a Program Manager, you will take charge of executing complex clinical studies, with a primary focus on IVD Performance Evaluations under EU IVDR and equivalent validation studies in US-based CLIA environments. You will also oversee other related FDA studies,ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and requirements.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of clinical research studies, from study design to closeout.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all clinical activities align with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Drive projects to achieve the necessary regulatory approvals, working closely with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical research teams, ensuring the successful completion of studies.
Skills and Qualifications for the Programme Manager::To excel in this role, youll need:
  • 3-6 years of experience in diagnostic and medical device clinical studies, demonstrating a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CE-IVDR, UKCA, CLIA/CAP, and FDA regulatory requirements and environments. Adaptability to learn and navigate additional regulatory standards as needed.
  • 3+ years of management experience and a proven track record of team leadership gained in a medical device/diagnostics business or non-industry research organization..
