Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager for one of our key clients who will drive the companies processes and programmes for their expansion plans throughout the UK and Europe.Client DetailsOur client provides language interpretation services for the deaf sector globally for work places, hospital appointments, bank appointments etc. In the last year in the UK they are close to doubling in size, and in the next few years looking to expand furtherinto Europe and beyondDescriptionThis position will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team consisting of subject matter experts across multiple departments of the company for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution and successful launch of strategic change projectsfor tools and systems that are used to deliver or support the delivery of, the industry-leading products and services that we offer to our customers.

  • Programme Planning/Management: Define programme scope, success measures and schedule
  • Lead project working meetings, and oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Prepare and distribute status and progress reports, manage risks and issues, correct deviations from scope, and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Team Management: guide team members/stakeholders through projects by defining roles and responsibilities, removing roadblocks to their work, leveraging organisational resources to improve capacity for project work, and mentoring and developing team members.
Profile
  • 5 years experience - in a project manager role, using agile methodologies to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment with multi-function, geographically dispersed teams.
  • 3 years experience - in a programme manager role, coordinating multiple complex and interdependent projects to achieve organisation-wide goals.
    • Proven ability to strategise, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organisational objectives
    • Proven ability to lead projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
    • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects preferred
    • Experience collaborating with multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members
    • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisation
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with stakeholders up to senior/board level
    • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred
    • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools
    • Agile Project Management tools such as Jira or equivalent
    • Process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucid or equivalent
