Job Description

Our client is a medical devices and technology company developing, manufacturing and marketing smart connected diagnostics and diagnostic-led care solutions. They are a fast growing organisation operating globally.The Program Manager will be responsible for managing programmes/projects corresponding to the diagnostic medical device and connectivity management solution across the different areas, ensuring commercial success of product deliveries by connecting the ProductManagement, Operations and Commercial teams.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the delivery and deployment time lines for a series of R&D programs for Platform development
  • Lead project management achieving specific business goals across Agile teams and the wider organisation groups
  • Develop and manage cross-functional launch and deployment plans
  • The Program Manager will manage the business dependencies for the R&D development teams
  • Manage project coordination across the agile scrum teams
  • Schedule the program release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews
  • Lead "Go-Live" activities to deploy solutions successfully
  • Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, notifications lists, and dependencies
  • The Program Manager will manage delivery of programs through a team of Program and Project Managers
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Management of a number of Release Coordinators
Skills
  • Program Management in medical devices or complex hardware and software product
  • Development, manufacturing, launch and post market exposure
  • Program Manager in a regulated environment, managing and developing a release process
  • Experience working across full product lifecycle
  • Launching multiple products and managing all elements of the product lifecycle
  • Technical Leadership skills for example, enabling continuous improvement, solution design, requirements elicitation
  • Ideally line management experience
Desirable
  • Background in Software and Hardware development
  • SAFE, Scrum and Agile certifications would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience with release automation tools
  • Lean product methodologies
  • Continuous Improvement in relation to process improvement
  • Jira and other Agile/Product Development tools
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
  • Accreditation by APM, PMI, IPMA or other project management organization
