Job Description

optic/laser alignment, optical assembly and laser calibrationEnigma People Solutions is recruiting a number of production engineers for a global leader in the manufacture of laser products based in Glasgow, Scotland (relocation assistance available).This is a production role that involves optic/laser alignment, optical assembly and laser calibration.Responsibilities will include:

  • Assembly and test of production products, including optic/laser alignment, fault diagnosis; result monitoring and analysis.
  • Final optical assembly of advanced laser products.
  • Optical alignment and test of advanced laser products.
  • Laser set up using sophisticated optical techniques.
  • Laser calibration using electronic control.
  • Improve laser build documentation.
To be of interest you will demonstrate the following:
  • Degree or equivalent in a laser science or related subject or equivalent knowledge gained through working in laser production environment.
  • Experience of aligning and testing opto-electronic/laser equipment.
  • Strong innovation, analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality control/process improvement methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular verbal skills to keep team up to date with progress.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
