Job Description

Are you an experienced software application Support AnalystDo you have basic SQL query skillsIf so I have a fantastic role for you with my client who is a market leading provider of outsourced contact center services and software solutions for some of the world’s most successful brands.**Initially working from home and then when restrictions change a blended approach to flexible working from their Glasgow office**You will be joining the Product Support team, providing 1st and 2nd line support to their global client base:Main responsibilities include:

  • 1stand 2nd line support of their software products
  • Ownership of support issues and requests from logging to resolution.
  • Following support processes and procedures to ensure that all issues and requests meet agreed customer SLA’s.
  • Work required shifts to cover key customer business hours including UK and North America and on a rota basis providing 24x7 support
  • Assist in maintaining internal infrastructure to facilitate the activities of other teams across the business.
  • Keep up to date with new developments through proactive learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Required skills:
  • Relevant Application / Product Support experience
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to write and analyse SQL statements and queries.
  • Basic level administration of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Advantageous skills
  • Knowledge of Call Centre telephony systems
  • Experience within a PC and server virtualisation environment
  • Experience of implementing and supporting cloud based applications, primarily on Azure
