Job Description

Would you like to become part of a rapid growing food chain, with offices and sites across the whole of the UK An amazing opportunity within our client’s procurement team has become vacant and this could be right for you! Working out of their new office within Glasgow, you will be a key team player as part of a small team, working alongside some highly experience procurement experts, and a number of other young talented individuals across the organisation. Our client hadone restaurant in 2017, as of July 2023 they now have 16 restaurants in 4 separate countries! This is a great time to join the business as they implement these plans, continuing to expand into 2023 and beyond.The organisation are no strangers to all thing’s apprentices, as proven in the past, they have a rich history of developing apprentices with QA and progressing them within their professional career.Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as first response for all incoming enquiries from suppliers, procurement and supporting other business functions - problem solving or escalating issues where required
  • Responding to enquiries using Google sheets/documents along with securely using Google shared drive for internal files to be stored
  • Raising purchase orders using Hubdoc and Xero and liaising with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
  • Using Teams calendars and shared drive to ensure daily and weekly purchasing plans are completed
  • Use internal system (Zonal Acquire) to monitor chefs not using list
  • Help with tendering analysis using Excel and Google spreadsheets
  • Load purchasing templates onto ordering portals
What we are looking for:
  • Focused, friendly and able to work as part of a team
  • Good IT Skills, attention to detail and organisation skills a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are extremely important (e.g. in person, on the phone, and through all written correspondence)
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and complete work accurately
  • Ability to build relationships both with suppliers and colleagues
Working week:Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pmSalary:£11,000 - £15,579 per annum (dependant on age)Benefits:

Future prospects:You will complete your apprenticeship with QA on your first year at the company. There will be opportunities to gain a full-time role and become a valued member of the team.
