Manage, support and develop team of buyers. Support warranties department on escalated callsand have good understanding of CRM.Key Job Responsibilities:* Accountable for procurement team for tasks, resource planning, training needs and HR activities.* Manage team of 4 direct staff and 1 indirect.* Work directly with senior management team and directors.* Implement procurement strategies in a changing market, promoting procurement best practice.* Benchmark within the market to ensure all procured product & services are best value and that margins are maximised.* Continue and manage Brexit/Covid procurement strategy to minimise impact for additional expenditure.* Centralise, manage and continuously improve MRP.* Ability to analysis data, volumes, trends and seasonal & customer demands.* Validate and authorise vendor long term product forecasts (container stock).* Accountable for all procurement with an expenditure of over £12m+ PA.* Manage end to end vendor relationships/contracts for 40+ vendors for product, services and utilities for all sites including waste management and recycling.* Manage vendor performance reviews, which entail order & delivery cycle, expenditure, product review, exploring new ranges, quality control, price negotiation and payment terms.* Scope new client contract requirements and implement product range and supply chain.* Managed product catalogue.* Create and provide documentation for company RFQ/RFI for contract tenders.* Maintain E Cats (electronic catalogue) of company product range.* Ensure company policies and procedures are compiled to including to health and safety standards.* Other tasks as requested by senior manager.Experience and Skills required:* Strong procurement and management experience.* CIPS, or a desire to undertake.* Experience of ERP systems is essential.* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.* Exceptional relationship and client management skills.* Customer focused.* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.* Effective results driven approach to performance management.* Able to work under pressure.* Attention to detail with right first-time ethos.* Proficient on all Microsoft packages particularly excel.Profile description:Fyte are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join a growing organisation based in Glasgow.Key Purpose of the Job:Have a strong invested interest for Company Procurement, ensure effective purchasing decisions are made to maximise margins and ensure supply chain run efficiently.
