Job Description

If you are looking for job satisfaction and to be at the top of your game, producing high quality printed packaging, we currently have the following vacancy for a Print Minder in our Print Department. This role will give the right candidate real pride inwhat they produce at Beamglow and along with that the job security that comes with a well established and respected family run business.We are currently looking for candidates that are willing to relocate to St Ives, Cambridgeshire to join our team.In exchange for your commitment with us you will receive:

  • Salary £39 700 - £43 800 based on skill level and experience
  • 3 day working week (36 hours per week on rotation, no Sunday working)

Print Minder Duties:
  • Making ready the press
  • Ensure the output of the press with regard to speed and quality
  • Cartons are produced to the specification required
  • Leading and developing your crew to be successful in their individual roles
  • Maintaining BRC standards
  • Working with the Print Manager and other colleagues to address issues on the presses
  • Producing colour standards for customers/reference
  • Health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
Print Minder Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • excellent technical and problem solving skills;
  • the ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • good communication skills;
  • ensure the department stays abreast of all new technologies;
  • enthusiasm and determination.
Experience of the packaging sector Koenig and Bauer presses are preferential.We are a family run business with 50+ years experience in the packaging market. We produce premium cartons for established businesses in the fine fragrance, cosmetics and premium spirit drinks markets, for example, products such as Boots, Elemis and Macallanwhisky.
