Job Description

What could the day-to-day look like
  • Pulling the correct dye for a given job and visually inspecting the dye condition; pulling plates for a given job, visually inspecting them and mounting the plates according to the specific work order
  • Verifying that the job jacket and item numbers match the copy proof and that all colour files are on hand
  • Checking inks and varnish numbers and making them ready for the job
  • Mounting plates on the correct cylinder size according to finished rewind position and die position
  • Demounting, filing and cleaning plates and cylinders ensuring they are ready for next use
  • Flagging any issues with plates or dyes that would affect the next run
  • Passing the necessary job information along to the next stage of the process
  • Completing all necessary paperwork
The successful candidate would work a 36-hour week with the potential for extra hours depending on the needs of the business.
