Job Description

Principal Hydrogeologist - GlasgowMy client, a worldwide multidisciplinary Consultancy based in Glasgow, is on the lookout for a Principal Hydrogeologist to join and manage high-profile projects in the water resources management, environmental and infrastructure sector for Local Authoritiesand Private Sector Clients across the UK and internationally.Requirements:

  • BSc and MSc in Hydrogeology or relevant degree.
  • Hydrogeological/Water resource experience.
  • Experience using Modflow.
  • Experience completing Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Ground Water Modelling and De-watering Projects.
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead delivery of projects covering all aspects of water resources such as borehole design, pumping test analysis and groundwater flow modelling.
  • Complete Water Quality Assessments
  • Mentoring team members, providing support when needed.
  • Preparing bids and contract documents.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to time and budget and comply with company standards and environmental legislations.
  • Liaise with stakeholder and clients, attending meetings when needed.
  • Manage projects.
  • Complete Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Water Resource Assessments, Surface Water Management plans, Groundwater Modelling using Modlfow and monitoring.
