This post is within Glasgow City HSCP, North East Sector Psychology – Adult Mental Health. The post holder will have responsibility for the delivery of specialist psychological assessments, including neuropsychological assessment, high intensity/ highly specialist individual and/ or group therapies. The post holder will offer supervision to psychology staff where required, psychologists in training, assistant psychologist and staff delivering psychological interventions. Clinical work will be based within a community mental health team and/ or inpatient settings.Candidates will have an accredited, doctoral-level (or equivalent, if trained prior to 1996) professional qualification in Clinical Psychology, including specific models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. Candidates should be eligible for registration with the BPS as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and be registered with the HCPC as a clinical psychologist. This post is for 7.5 hours, for 10 months fixed term, and will be worked Monday to Friday.
