Job Description

If youre looking for a leading role in challenging Engineering projects, Blueprint Recruitment have the perfect opportunity!Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy on a permanent basis. This position gives the successful candidate the flexibility to operate on a hybrid basis, attending any one of our clients UK offices 3times per week. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on a range of exciting and unique design and construction projects in the UK and overseas.You will be working with our clients Infrastructure and Civil Engineer team to deliver creative Engineering services and integrated solutions across a wide range of building and infrastructure projects in various sectors, including Rail, Aviation, Defence,Transportation, water and Residential.Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of small to medium infrastructure projects
  • Produce designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes
  • Lead the civil engineering design and provide supervision and support more junior staff
  • Ensure the provision of efficient and high-quality engineering services
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary design team
  • Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
  • Be aware of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work, and the project BIM Execution plan
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Civil Engineer, ideally in the buildings sector.
  • Honours Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or HND or equivalent experience.
  • Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE),
  • Ability to achieve SC clearance
  • Experience with current UK design standards and working practices.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, particularly for report writing purposes.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD and Civils 3D, with Revit BIM 360
  • Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction stage
  • Assist in preparing bids and generally enhance work-winning capability
  • Experience in site surveys, inspection of works carried out on-site, and monitoring quality and compliance with design drawings
  • Ability to work and collaborate independently and as part of a multi-discipline team
  • Embrace new technologies, including digital engineering, automation, and parametric design
  • Possession of a driving license (desirable)
  • Demonstrates a positive and supportive approach towards colleagues and clients
  • Possesses a practical mindset and a problem-solving nature,
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Takes acceptance of responsibility for work carried out
