Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation based in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit a Project PMO Lead (Change) for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£255/day (inside of IR35). This role will be remote based initially due to current circumstances.Responsibilities:• Support the Senior Project Lead (SPL) in managing Programme Management Office activity in the Service area • Strong and effective working relationship with Senior Project Lead in order that they can substitute for them as and when needed. • Maintain and manage a wide range of artefacts for the Service area including Risk/Issues Logs, Plans etc - adding value at all points. This includes specific lead role in:oCoordinating and drafting support for Business Cases, Strategies, Funding Requests etc. oLead role in routine Change Requests, facilitating input and ensuring quality CRs across the Service area. oRegular checks of Governance dashboards, seeking input from service teams and ensuring accurate and quality entries to all roadmaps. oLead role in helping SPL to ensure Workplan for LPMST is updated and maintained to drive forward deliverables. oPlan maintenance and active management of milestones vis Microsoft Project, engaging with SPL and Service areas. oSupporting role in developing reporting dashboard, adding value to drive quality reporting. oSome financial management support. • Task management to a high quality. • Build and maintain strong, credible working relationships with Service area, Programme Management Office colleagues and wider Programme. • Champion role for Local Management Support Team eg Planning, Change, Risk/Issue etc • Role in continuous improvement activity including CIP20.• Expert in Programme Management Office standards, strategies and templates. • Personal responsibility for performance and development, in line with delivering a quality project management service. Essential Skills:• Ability to deliver quality work in a busy and fast paced environment.• Ability to build successful, professional relationships with colleagues, specialists, senior managers and leaders that leads to successful delivery.• Ability to prioritise tasks and activities to meet deadlines.• Demonstrate where you have provided expertise, support and advice to colleagues across a range of business areas towards a common goal.• Prince 2 qualification.
