Job Description

PlannerGlasgowHA 11383Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experienceAn excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Planner to join a growing environmental and planning consultancy in Glasgow.The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous planning experience
  • Chartered status with the RTPI or will be working towards this
  • Project management experience
  • Previous experience in the coordination of EIAs
  • An in depth knowledge of the technical aspects of EIA disciplines
  • A proven ability to write professional reports
Within the role the successful Environmental Planner will be:
  • Coordinating planning applications for a range of client projects within the renewables sector including solar, wind energy storage and hydro developments
  • Coordinating EIA projects
  • Managing projects and sub-consultants
  • Developing new business opportunities and preparing tenders
  • Liaising with clients
