Job Description

Salary: £34.8k - £43k per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications)Reference: REQ3787Do you want to be a part of an innovative and supportive teamWe are recruiting for Pipeline Data Support within the Pipelines Maintenance team, reporting to a Pipeline Engineer. The role will play an important part in the management and processing of Pipelines specific data, principally relating to the Cathodic Protectionsystems on the network. This will involve preparation of management information, processing, recording, and managing data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy, and acting as the single point of contact.What will you be doing day to day

  • Responsibility for the routine maintenance of the Cathodic Protection, managed through PCS database for the whole of Scotland.
  • Processing data, ensuring complete and accurate records are being captured.
  • Preparing Management Information on a monthly or ad-hoc basis to inform decision making and investment plans.
  • Tracking all PS/6 records generated by the Pipelines team.
What you’ll need
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications, Excel, TEAMS etc.
  • A flexible and positive attitude to work, self-motivated to deliver work to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure positive interactions with all stakeholders.
  • A basic understanding of the principals of Cathodic Protection would be valuable.
  • Awareness of the High-Pressure Transmission system in Scotland would be advantageous.
