Job Description

Personal Injury SpecialistFull time, Permanent position and 12 month FTCs available Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working model We are currently looking to recruit a Personal Injury Specialist for a leading insurer.The Personal Injury Specialist is responsible for managing a caseload of claims below £25k, and supporting the team and department in achieving the key performance targets.Responsibilities

  • Handle Claims in accordance with the Best Practise Guide.
  • Adhere to the legal and regulatory framework in accordance with the relevant bodies.
  • Complete Exception & Audit controls within timeframes.
  • Comply with internal policy and procedures, and comply with external best practice and legislation, e.g. equal opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with your peer group to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Work with your team leader group to achieve proactive quality file handling.
Skills/Experience
  • Existing knowledge of claims or processes within claims would be beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and third party representatives both verbally and via written communication.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and wider department.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills. Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage your own time effectively - working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate quality claims handling with a clear understanding of the need for reserving accuracy on all claims.
  • Ability to spot market trends & potential strategies that can support the department in achieving the key objectives.
