There’s loads of training and promotion opportunities available for those who want to pursue it and every day job satisfaction for all regardless of role.As a Peripatetic Manager, you will assume responsibly for care homes that temporarily have no Manager as and when required as well as provide operational support for senior management including the Regional Director and Home Manager within the business area. .Sanctuary Care has over 100 care homes and you can ‘feel’ the difference a team makes the moment you step through one of our doors. Become a part of it and apply for this role.Where you’ll workYou will cover a portfolio of 17 homes across Scotland covering Invergordon, Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Kilmarnock, Ayr, Prestwick, Dumfries and Isle of Cumbrae , you may also be required to support homes across our full home network, should the need arise.Are you our next Peripatetic Manager Here’s more about the role:

  • Peripatetic Managers ensure thehome complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing, maintaining and monitoring procedures and maintaining awareness of major developments and legislation within the sector
  • Leisure and social activities are a really important part of the day – we all get stuck in
  • You’ll have a commercial mind and will run the home that meets business objectives including control of budgets and economic viability
  • Embracing new business from enquiring residents and building relationships with your local community will be a daily part of your day. Keeping your home safe, full and fun are your key objectives
  • We have a great head office team to support you with your management ofrecruitment, performance and development of quality staff to deliver the very best care and life enrichment in your home
  • It’s very simple – if you can be the best Peripatetic Manager you can be by being kind and supportive in every way to our residents, their families and our colleagues, then we’re all doing a great job.
  • You’ll have previous experience in a residential and/or nursing setting, along with strong operational management experience.
