People Systems and Insights ManagerSalary:£46,200 - circa £65,000 depending on experienceLocation: Close to Glasgow or Newcastle is ideal but we’re flexibleContract type: PermanentWe are recruiting for an amazingly exciting and leading organisation who are seeking a talented leader to perform a key role within HR - driving their digital disruption agenda on behalf of their colleagues. You’ll be experimenting with, and implementing new ways of working and technology enhancements to improve their overall colleague experience, HR service delivery as well as data analysis and insights. Working with the Head of People Services, you’ll help to define and deliver the strategic HR technology roadmap over a three year scope focusing on streamlining and optimisation, driven by the organisation’s HR ambition. They’ll look to you to ensure that their HR systems operate effectively and securely, and are continually improved and enhanced within budget and in alignment with the HR plan.Here’s what you’ll be doing:• Leading and inspiring the People Systems and Insights Team - delivering the very best performance through the team by keeping the organisation’s Purpose, Strategic Aims and Values & Behaviours at the heart of all you do whilst developing your team with stretching goals to build capability and ambition.• Responsible for effective deployment of HR Systems & Insights resource to align to BAU delivery, continuous improvement journey and strategic investment roadmap.• Delivering ongoing enhancements and technology roadmaps including configuration and change governance and release management.• Build effective relationships across key stakeholders internally and externally to HR, acting as a trusted advisor for systems, insights and HR data• Represent HR technology in working groups and forums across the organisation, acting as a strategic partner helping to shape technology plans and policies in line with colleague experience ambitions.• Enhance and develop the use of people data, driving the adoption of true people insights across the business rather than traditional MI, improving and challenging quality to address strategic drivers including D&I.We need you to bring:• Strong, resilient leadership, project management and people management capabilities.• Knowledge of HR Information Systems and payroll, including ideally Core HR / People XD, Tableau and /or other visualisation packages• Overview of agile software development cycle and methodology, app management and an interest in AI technologies to improve HR effectiveness.• Strong presentation and influencing skills with the ability to be straight up.• Ability to work collaboratively across the function and department, building stakeholder relationships.• GDPR Data management and use compliance.The icing on the cake would be…but not essential:• An HR background with CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essentialRED HOT Rewards• A generous holiday package and the option to buy more!• Private Medical Insurance - with the option to extend to family members.• Pension!
