Job Description

A pensions firm is currently looking for a Pensions Administration Assistant to join their team based in Central Glasgow. YOUR ROLE You will ensure that all benefits and payments are calculated, processed and recorded efficiently and accurately in accordance with the Scheme Rules and current legislation and appropriate returns made to statutory bodies. You will provide a high level of customerservice responding quickly and effectively to sponsoring employers and members enquiries according to the offices service standards. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute successfully to the overall success of the team in consistently meeting office standards of customer service.
  • Accurately calculate, award and record on Profund administration system the range of benefits due to members in accordance with Trust Deed and Rules and Inland Revenue limits
  • Maintain appropriate controls for audit purposes and providing management statistics.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as the Disclosure Regulations and General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Answer members enquiries promptly and efficiently in accordance with the office service standards.
YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE/BE
  • University degree or previous experience as pensions administrator preferred
  • Ability to work as an effective team member providing support to meet the needs of the office.
  • Demonstrable self-motivation and problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Be customer service focused.
  • Be committed to the principle of continuous development
  • Demonstrate good communication skills.
