A client that sits in the pensions arena is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join the Glasgow based team.Salary: £27,000-35,000 experience dependent.Role purpose:To provide a comprehensive Pensioner Payroll service specific to meet the needs of the Pensions Office and the reporting requirements of the Pensions Office.Duties:* Manage monthly end to end payroll processes for all Scheme1 pensioners covering UK and worldwide territories on the Propay administration systems, including the preparation and review of monthly payroll reports for approval by Senior Management and ensuringall payrolls are committed and paid in line with Scheme Service Standards.* Arrange production and distribution of monthly payslips, including the provision of electronic payslip data for this to be loaded to Member Portal.* Co-ordinate and implement the annual pension increase and Year-end clear-down routines on Profund/Propay administrations systems.* Arrange submission of monthly PAYE files and submit reports in accordance with Real Time Information (RTI) requirements and deal with pension payroll enquiries from HM Revenue & Customs and Scheme pensioners.* Prepare statistics on payroll pensioner movements, and Profund statistics in respect of deferred pensioner members, for the provision of information to the Trustee board and to office management.* Perform monthly mortality review using information from Target Professional Services.* Participate in ad-hoc administration tasks such as New Payee set-ups, suspensions/reinstatements, address/bank/building society amendments* Manage monthly reconcciliation of annuity payments and membership schedules in respect of annuity recipientsThe successful candidates for this role will have:* good operational knowledge of payroll processes and BACS payment systems and legislative requirements in relation to pay and pensions. * experience of running UK payrolls and a good understanding of providing a payroll service, ideally within a pensionscheme environment, * Competency in MS Excel and the general principles of data extraction, handling, and analysis, and * have a suitable qualification in Payroll Management and/or data analysis or equivalent experience * experience of using Propay and Profundwould be advantageous,
