You would cover main payroll duties and ideally would get involved with some accounting responsibilities such as processingVAT returns.Key Responsibilities: Supporting the payroll manager in processing payroll in-house for multiple clients across Scotland. Achieving a high level of communication with clients Ideally diversification into VAT and other accounting responsibilitiesAccountancy can sometimes come across as dry or stuffy, not so here! The company prides itself on its diverse clientele that come from all corners of Scotland, as well as delivering a very close relationship with them that involves regular communication.Variety is the spice of life, and this job offers it.Youll bring: Experience in payroll at an accountancy practice Ability to use Sage or Xero software Personality! Forging close relationships with clients is a big part of what the company do Ability to cope with a fast-paced environment A love of variety, of clients and of day-to-day tasksThis position comes as a full-time permanent contract with a competitive salary and a review guaranteed after the first 6 months. You would also be entitled to: 25 days holiday as well as the usual bank holidays, to enjoy some time away from work Private healthcare, ensuring the best standards Study support, giving you the best possible base to pursue certification Flexible working, start between 8 and 10, finish between 4 and 6.
