Your key responsibilities Everything youll do will come back to providing exceptional audit activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so youll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, youll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. Skills and attributes for success Taking a lead on fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagementsCompleting audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills in areas including revenue, financial instruments and income taxesEngaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactionsConstantly developing your knowledge of current market trends and processes and sharing this knowledge to develop junior colleaguesUnderstanding our clients unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible To qualify for the role you must have Currently studying ICAS or ACCA and achieved part-qualified status, preferably with first time passesExperienced in planning, execution and reporting on auditsExcellent communication skills, written and verbalProven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements. Ideally, youll also have: Experience using SOX 404 and applying UK GAAP and IFRS What we look for Were interested in leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen.
