We have 30 operating businesses in England, Wales and Scotland, three house-building brandsand three off-site manufacturing facilities.Were looking for people like you, and this could be your opportunity to start Building Your New Possible.What is the rolePersimmon Homes requires a Partnership Development Manager to join our Partnership Homes Team, reporting to our Head of Partnership Homes, primarily working in the North East and Scotland regions.The purpose of the role is to support the Land & Planning Team to provide guidance on affordable housing whilst managing relationships with local authority enablers and Registered Providers. This role will be responsible for the North East and Scotlandwith occasional travel within this area to attend meetings or meet with RP partners.The role will include:

  • Assisting the co-ordination and reporting of the Group S.106 Affordable Homes Programme
  • Supporting the Head of Partnership Homes to work with regional Land and Planning Teams from scheme inception to agree Affordable Housing Mixes, negotiate S.106/S.75 Affordable Housing provisions and obtain offers from the Registered Provider (RP) market
  • Prepare reports which interpret the Affordable Housing requirements within specific Local Authority areas and Planning Permissions
  • Support the delivery of RP contracts to ensure they are exchanged in a timely manner
  • Conduct engagement and relationship management with Local Authority Enablers and RPs to support our Core Values
What we need from you
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work on under own initiative, manage priorities and plan workload with excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good presentation and communication skills both via email and over the telephone with individuals at all levels
  • Able to interpret, critically analyse documents and make recommendations
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills with demonstrated outcomes
  • Ability to conduct tasks professionally at all times
  • As a minimum educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Driving License is required, an ability to travel regionally and also nationally on occasion
