Paralegal - Real Estate International Firm Glasgow or Edinburgh We have been instructed by a leading International firm to find them a number of experienced Real Estate Paralegals to join their highly respected, award winning and top tier Legal 500 ratedReal Estate team working from either of their Glasgow or Edinburgh offices. The firm are operating a hybrid working model splitting time between the office and working from home. The roles have come about due to increased demand for their services combinedwith significant recent business wins. The firm are also at the fore front of utilising technology to simplify the legal process and readily embrace the possibilities for developing new and better ways of delivering legal services. The Role: The successfulindividual will be focused on supporting the firms energy and utilities clients with acquisition transitions, including managing purchases and leases of sub-stations / radio sites and equivalent, as well as negotiating wayleaves, easements and variations.You will manage a busy caseload of transactions which will involve regular client contact, drafting the acquisition documentation, negotiating with the counterparty to the transaction and carrying out title reviews, as well as assisting with file opening proceduresincluding preparing first draft of retainer letter and ensuring compliance with money laundering regulations. The Individual: * You would ideally be an enthusiastic experienced Real Estate-focused Paralegal * Would consider Paralegal from a residential propertybackground looking for a fresh challenge * Keen eye for detail with the ability to use your initiative * Well versed in dealing with a large and diverse workload * Ideally have a strong academic background and a degree in law or equivalent qualification ispreferred, but not essential Please apply as directed or confidentially contact Andrew Inglis for further information and more detailed outline of the role.
