Our entry positions are excellent opportunities for graduate or entry-level candidates with keen attention to detail, customer services experience (retail and hospitality experience is welcomed), basic to moderate understanding of Microsoft packages (specificallyExcel, Word and Outlook) and eagerness to pursue a professional career within the Investment, Financial or Accountancy sectors. The opportunities we can provide will suit a candidate who may have started their first role(s) in general administration, datamigration/ analysis, customer services and/ or studies/ further education within these sectors.By applying to this position, you will be contacted by our recruitment team to discuss our interview days in Glasgow. The benefit of the interview day is; that you complete one interview and hiring managers will be able to consider you for several opportunitieswithin the business. Testing metrics on general MS Excel and attention to detail are mandatory prior to the interview day and take mere minutes to complete.Key Responsibilities:Dependent on the specific role that you are offered, you will find the duties below which would be part of your day-to-day activities,
  • Produce client mailings and track responses to progress client transfers quickly and efficiently.
  • Accurate input of client data to in-house systems (training provided)
  • Creation of data feeds or snapshots of progression made for client reports
  • Liaise with third-party product providers and track responses.
  • Ensure appropriate time management in line with service level agreements
  • Maintain Excel worksheets to ensure the tracking of client progression is up to date at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • FS product knowledge or operational experience within the financial services industry; useful but not essential.
  • Good standard of education to include Maths and English (GCSE minimum: C).
  • Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems; Excel, Word, Outlook (ability to use Mail Merge and/or intermediate Excel skills are not essential but beneficial).
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills; being able to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Professional telephone manner.
