Job Description

Search Consultancy are working with a leading integrated wealth management and professional services group to recruit a Corporate Actions Operations Executive. With 180 years of experience, our client gives expert advice in all areas of wealth and tax, whetherpersonal or business. This is a fantastic permanent position located in Glasgow that comes with a number of excellent benefits.Responsibilities:To perform the daily duties associated with all Corporate Action functions to ensure all events are processed accurately within the market deadlines. This process includes event notification, broadcasting, collation and input of client elections, updatingclient portfolios with any outturn and completion of reconciliations. Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines and that any anomalies are reported to the line manager within agreed timescales. Ensure that personal and team KPI s / KRIs / MIR are met, assist in collation of MI highlighting any issues to management. liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and in a timely manner, escalating any issues where relevant. Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner , ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing client service Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensuring high quality service levels are delivered. Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and payments, escalating to manager or relevant departmentwhere necessary.The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations - this is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel
  • strong interpersonal skills, including strong communication and the ability to understand and summarise complex information, ability to engage with senior audiences
  • high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • strong organisational skills and a flexible approach to team priorities
