Nursing Home, Learning Disability, Physical Disability, Mental HealthRef: KPJ2554£60,000 p/a + Bonus | 40 Hours – Days | Elderly & Dementia Home | Experience EssentialAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse Manager to lead and develop a luxury Glasgow nursing home.The home offers round the clock nursing care to older people with elderly and dementia care needs, and provides hotel style living in a modern, high-spec setting.Details of this Care Home Manager position and what the home is offering:

  • 40 hours per week on a permanent basis
  • A great annual salary of £60,000, plus a bonus of £5,000
  • Days only, with some evenings & weekends required due to the seniority of the role
  • A company pension scheme and a generous annual leave allowance
  • Ongoing training and development programmes in addition to a comprehensive induction
    • As Home Manager, you will coordinate and oversee the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn’t compromise on quality of care or life. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical teams in addition to managing budgets and resources.Applicants for this Nurse Home Manager position should meet the following criteria:
  • NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse and have completed a recognised Level 5 management qualification such as SVQ5
  • At least 2 years’ home management experience within the UK/Scottish nursing home sector and have evidence of getting consistently good Care Inspectorate grades within the same home
  • Demonstrate a stable employment history and able to offer commitment and longevity to the role
  • A strong leader with excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and a positive, proactive approach
