An opportunity for a Nurse Manager has arisen within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde to work within the Staff Bank Services. The Staff Bank service provides supplementary clinical and non-clinical staffing to a range of health care services. We are looking for an individual to provide clinical, managerial and professional leadership to our Bank Nursing & Midwifery workforce. As the successful candidate you will demonstrate through evidence, strong leadership behaviours, such as being responsive and agile in the way you think, to make decisions and manage change. You will also be resilient, and understand your available resources, and quickly adapt to change in the demands of our services. You will be innovative in your approach, and will continually seek opportunities to add value to the dynamics of the bank services. The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for ensuring national best practice standards are implemented in regard to the use of supplementary staffing, and contribute to the Quality Improvement strategy.The appointed candidate will come with a wealth of experience and a proven track record gained within a clinical and managerial background and bring with them exceptional people management, staff engagement, and communication skills. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC with experience and proven managerial experience. You should have a sound knowledge of NHS environment and current policies and National strategy.
