Job Description

Sales Assistant -M&S Simply Food - Glasgow Queens StreetMarks & Spencer and WHSmith are excited to be working together on a Franchise basis

  • Up to £11.50 per hour (£10 per hour, plus £1.50 unsocial premium between the hours of 00:00 and 5.00am
  • 24 or 39 hours per week
  • Opportunity for additional hours may be available in peak or busy periods
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement
  • Contributory pension

Our aim is to give you the skills you need to help you fulfil your potential.Job IntroductionOur Sales Assistants deliver a great shopping experience for their customers, putting customers before task every timeAs a Sales Assistant you will complete set task and processes that deliver best in town standards.Sales Assistant Responsibility:
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations
  • Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
  • Working as an active member of the team, supporting colleagues in all tasks
  • Maintain high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the store is well presented. Accurately following planograms
  • Demonstrate good product knowledge to customers on key promotions and offers
  • Approaching customers that may require assistance if you are on the shop floor
  • Some roles will involve pushing loaded trolleys of stock for long distances.

  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • Confident approach towards maximising sales opportunities
