My client is renowned for supplying innovative machinery to an array of top contractors.My client has recently acquired some new contracts and requires a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team to assist with product drawings, development, assembly and testing. If the selected applicant provides an excellent service, they will be offereda secure permanent position with a reputable company.The ideal candidate would be degree qualified in mechanical engineering or have relevant experience. They will also have experience with Solidworks, mechanical calculations and design (from cradle to grave), drafting and mechanical motor assemblies.On offer here is a 3-6 month contract, with the view to go permanent, for a company who are not only offering an excellent rate but also provide the highest accuracy systems to a range of top customers.The role:Mechanical Product Design/Development EngineerWorking alongside a development team to take the product through a full life cycleDeveloping existing projects on siteThe CandidateDegree qualified/ equivalent experience in Mechanical EngineeringLooking for a contract role that has the potential to go permanentExperience with: Solidworks, Mechanical Design Engineering, Drawings, Project Calculations, Assembly, Testing, Drafting.
