Mechanical Engineer - Auxiliary Systems£35.10ph Ltd6 month contractScotstounAdvantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a prestigious organisation operating within the defence sector to find a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the maritime engineering team, with top level skills in undertaking integration into the ship design of equipment associated with the following auxiliary systems:* Fluid system design including flow modelling, flow calculations, * use of pipes and valves * Hydraulics and compressed gas systems. * Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants (POL). * Water Systems * Waste Management Systems * Bilge, Sullage and Ballast Systems * Scuppers, drains, vent and air escape systems. Successful candidates would possess 5 plus years of engineering skills, ideally within the defence sector and will have strong maritime experience or similar background within oil and gas for example.
