Job Description

Company: DF Concerts and EventsDepartment: Marketing and CommunicationsLocation: Glasgow, UKReports to: Head of Marketing and CommunicationsWorking Hours: 40hrs - Mon to Fri + additional event work as requiredRole DescriptionThe main purpose of the role is to drive and deliver successful marketing campaigns for all DF festivals and greenfield events. You will work with the marketing and communications team and agencies to create and develop innovative and effective marketingstrategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness. You will work with the Live Nation Sponsorship team to ensure partnership deliverables are met for all DF brands and support where required to deliver sponsorship revenue. In addition, you will monitorand measure the effectiveness of campaigns and produce reports on overall performance and improvements for current and future campaigns. Essentially, we require a dynamic, creative, and driven individual to join our growing organisation.What its like to work in the TeamDF Concerts bring the best live music and life affirming experiences to music fans across Scotland, year after year. Throughout their 1,000 concerts per year, DF Concerts work with some of the biggest names in music as well as champion the career progressionof newly established acts. Having previously organised Scotlands largest music festival, T in the Park, from 1994 to 2016, the company added the inaugural TRNSMT Festival to the line-up in 2017. DF Concerts is also responsible for the 35k capacity GlasgowSummer Sessions and the 6K capacity Edinburgh Summer Sessions, held against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. Additionally, the company owns and operates, "quite possibly the finest small venue in the world", King Tuts Wah Wah Hut - supporting the vibrantmusic scene from grassroots level, up.Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Significant experience in a relevant marketing role.
  • A demonstrable, rounded understanding of marketing including digital marketing, sponsorship, and communications.
  • Solid understanding of the UK events and festivals landscape.
  • Previous experience managing large marketing budgets.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Previous line management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices across all marketing channels.
  • A passion for all things marketing and a strong desire to learn, create, contribute, and innovate.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing performance metrics, campaign reporting and conduction customer research.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Excellent copywriting, proof reading and interpersonal skills

What the role includes
  • Develop and drive innovative and effective marketing strategies for festivals and greenfield events, to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Plan and implement campaign timelines, drive deadlines, oversee the development of all marketing materials, and manage the marketing budgets for each event
  • Analyse and report on customer data, trends, and market analysis to build and create successful marketing strategies for each event.
  • Deliver high-quality end of event reports measuring the performance of the campaign and evaluating customer research
  • Support the Senior Sales Manager for Scotland to drive and deliver sponsorship revenue for DF Concerts & Events
  • Assist Live Nation with delivery of partnership agreements for all DF brands
  • Work in conjunction with the Communications Manager to ensure campaign messaging is implemented and consistent across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key agencies, third parties and partners.
  • Line management of one permanent employee and seasonal team members over the summer.
