Job Description

Michael Page are delighted to partner with our client to recruit an exceptional opportunity for a Management Accountant. This is a leading role in the production of the management accounts and ensure the financial support needs of the business are met. Equallythere will be a strong commercial element to the role reacquiring finance bu sines partnering across multiple divisions and stakeholder.Client DetailsOur client is the UKs Leading Construction Manufacturer. This role will be based out of their Glasgow office with free parking.DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following:

  • Establish strong relationships with and support key stakeholders including both the operational and commercial teams
  • To be responsible for the production of management accounts for a given region
  • Cost analysis by site throughout the month and period end ensuring costs are coded correctly
  • Accounting data analysis by site throughout the month and period end
  • Provision of production statistics and inventory movements and reconciliation
  • Ensure capital expenditure processes are followed and capital spend is accurately reported.
  • Sales analysis reporting and customer profitability analysis
  • Entry of month end journals for reporting
  • Assist with forecast and budget preparation and analysis for the works and depots
  • To ensure financial data is accurate and complete and coded correctly
  • To assist the central finance team with balance sheet reconciliations as required
  • Ensure that all accounting policies and procedures are applied
  • Supervision and development of assistant accountants and other finance staff
  • Ad-hoc queries responded to satisfactory level
  • All other duties or tasks as requested by your line manager
ProfileThe successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
  • The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
  • Exp of working with non-financial managers
  • You will possess strong Excel skills
  • A good communicator with stakeholder management
  • Commercially focused
  • Interested in continuous improvements
Job OfferThis role offers a competitive salary between £45,000-£50,000 plus benefits.
