In your new role, you will work as a key member of the team to deliver the smooth transitionto a "One Company" model, standardising and harmonising the financial accounts, processes and reporting of Tchibo Coffee International, Matthew Algie Ltd and Capitol Foods.The aim is to merge financial services across the group, and the role holder will play a pivotal role in delivering this from a financial and tax perspective in a single functioning business structure.Key Responsibilities: Monthly management accounts process Prepare transformation files and map the financial information for all 3 companies Review and finalise opening balance sheets documenting all relevant adjustments Preparation of technical accounting and process memos for corporate transactions and new reporting standards Collaborate with HR, IT, Legal and Finance to obtain the due diligence and financial information respect of the assumptions therein Assess finance controls in place and support the integration scope and timelineExperience:To be considered for this position it is essential that you have strong significant experience as a qualified accountant. You will have developed strong accounting skills (IFRS and UK GAAP) and will have good technical knowledge on financial reporting matters.Ideally, you will have gained your experience in an FMCG / Retail / Manufacturing industry. You will also have strong consolidation experience including multicurrency and non-controlling interests as well as high level tax considerations.Essential Skills / Knowledge: Knowledge of D365 High attention to detail, ability to focus and take ownership of tasks until completion The successful applicant will be self-motivated, proactive and able to change directions quickly Software skills must include a strong background in Word and Excel and an aptitude for working within proprietary databases. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, at all levels Ability to manage his/ her own workload, multi-task, balance multiple and conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment Able to grasp complex concepts and details quickly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to identify problems and issues, work actively with others to resolve them and raise issues appropriately Prepared to take initiative, work flexibly to help the team achieve its goals, and respond positively to change.
