Job Description

Working alongside the Property Team to ensure all planned maintenance works are carried out across Scotland.Client DetailsA well established organisation who provide housing to people with disabilities. Owning and leasing properties throughout Scotland.Description

  • To visit housing to inspect, assess and record all information necessary to produce tender documentation for a range of programmed works. This will include the replacement of windows, heating systems, kitchens, bathrooms, and major roofing works.
  • Liaison with individual tenants and support staff regarding tenants choice and impact on tenants during works etc.
  • To produce contract documentation such as drawings, specifications, CDM information etc, which will form the core of tenders issued via Public Contract Scotland.
  • Keeping an accurate record of the planned programme of works and any variations.
  • To assist with the prioritisation of works including seasonal programming.
  • The post may also assist existing staff with the on-site supervision of contractors and the inspection and certification of completed works.
Profile
  • The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Must have access to a suitable vehicle during working hours.
  • Be extremely organised
  • Construction knowledge is preferable
