Our client looking for Machine engineer to join their team and take complete responsibility for the one of their workshops. The main duties of the roles are to operate a variety of machine equipment such as lathes, milling machines, horizontal boring,vertical boring and key cutting machines to manufacture component parts. The machine shop engineer will use precision machine tools to fabricate, modify or repair parts.This is permanent job with weekly 37.5 hours and pay rate of £16.34. Overtime is at time and a half.Our client expect candidates to have Relevant experience and qualifications but understand not everyone will tick all boxes. If you are a good engineer with a strong desire to develop this will go a long way with our client: Machine Shop experience (Required) Experience of operating various machinery including lathes, milling machines, boring machines and key cutting machines (Required) Pump, component and engineering knowledge (Required) Ability to use engineering measuring equipment (Required) Knowledge of safe systems of work (Required) Valid UK driving licence (Required) Client security clearance (Advantageous) CSCS/EUSR Card Holder (Advantageous) Water experience (Advantageous) Confined Space Entry training (Advantageous) DOMS & Water Hygiene (Advantageous) Overhead pendant crane/gantry crane training (Advantageous) Lifting Operations training (Advantageous)
