Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a specialist personal injury and employment law firm, based in Glasgow. It acts exclusively for UnionLine, the trade union law firm, for its members in Scotland.Our client is the first line of legal support for members of GMB and the Communication Workers Union, and was established to provide a broad range of legal services to their members.They work closely with a panel of law firms throughout the UK, to ensure a local, specialist service for members. The business was launched as a dedicated service for union members, to deal with cases under Scottish jurisdiction.The RoleYoull work in a niche team proving high-quality secretarial support to our clients busy and successful law practice. The ideal candidate will be bright, keen and highly organised. You will be passionate about providing excellent client service and adeptat working within a busy team. There are both full-time and part-time jobs available.Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a legal secretary in the relevant field
  • Audio typing skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of preparing documents and papers within the All Scotland Personal Injury Court and Court of Session
  • The ability to work on their own initiative
  • A good telephone manner and ability to deal sensitively with clients
  • Be a good team worker
  • Experience in case management systems is an advantage but training will be given
