Lead Nurse - Infection Prevention / IPC - Private Hospital Glasgow - Lanarkshire Full time - 37.5 hours £40,000 - £50,000 - Flexible DOE + benefits Remit Compass Associates are extremely excited to working with a valued and well respected client to help assist with the recruitment of a Infection Prevention and Control Lead Nurse their private surgical hospital in Glasgow. This is Scotlands largest private hospital with 101 beds, 6 operating theatres, a 5-bay endoscopy suite and 22 consulting rooms. It is also the only private hospital in Scotland with a level 3 intensive care unit and provide a wide range of treatments from routine investigations to complex surgery across many specialties. Our dedicated ophthalmic suite, also offers treatments and surgical options for 11 sub-specialties within Ophthalmology and our 11 bed day chemotherapy unit provides Systematic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) and supporting medications and is fully accredited with the MacMillan Quality Environment Mark which aims to set the highest possible standards for cancer care environments. The Candidate We are looking for a registered nurse with a post registration qualification in Infection prevention, with the following essential skills and attributes: - Previous experience in Infection Prevention (with post grad qualification) - Registered Nurse (or other profession e.g. Operating Department Practitioner). - Teaching and assessing qualification e.g. ENB 998 (or equivalent). - Able to apply specialist knowledge to risk assessment and support appropriate controls. - Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
