Job Description

Lead Digital User ResearcherWe are currently recruiting for a Lead Digital User Researcher to join our client in supporting the development and delivery of online services. This is a contract position with the details below.

  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract Rate: £550/day Inside IR35
  • Working Arrangements: Remote working 1 -2 days/week
  • Location: Central Glasgow

This position will provide a real opportunity to work to develop an essential service supporting vulnerable groups in getting vital assistance to live their lives to the fullest extent. What will you doAs a Lead Digital User Researcher your main responsibilities and deliverables are:
  • You will conduct activities in planning, analysing and communicating research with a multidisciplinary digital team
  • You will work with colleagues to collate and synthesize research data
  • Communicate research findings across the organisation.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers and developers to turn user research findings into actions that lead to valuable product and service designs
    • About youThe key experience, skills, and qualifications required to be successful as the Lead Digital User Researcher are:
  • A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in agile development environments
  • Experience in a vast array of different research methods
  • Experience of advocating for the adoption of user-centric design and working with development teams to guide colleagues in the effective application of these principles
