Job Description

As a Senior Java Development Engineer / Lead Developer you will be working on new and next generation Product Development, encompassing both platform and application elements, also including Proof-of-Concept Builds in very much an R&D driven environment.It is a modern "you built it, you run it" product environment, you work on concurrent projects and you will Lead on a number of small POC projects.What is in it for you:

    • You:
  • Have a proven background in Java Development with multiple full SDLC behind you and a preference for experience at Enterprise Level ( such as J2EE, Spring, ESB, etc. )
  • Have experience in Core Java
  • Have experience of JIRA, Confluence & Bamboo or similar
  • Are comfortable in the Design phase as well as hands on Coding and have demonstrable experience in working with Design Patterns
  • Have a great understanding in some if not all of the following: data structures, algorithms, multi-threading and / or real-time programming
  • Have worked on projects that include Systems Integration, preferably in relation to the products you developed integrating with Client / 3rd Party Systems
  • Have worked with Internal or External Clients to create functional requirements and ensure fit for purpose, innovative real-world solutions covering the Design, Build and Implementation stage
  • Either have experience in or want to work in a modern "you built it, you run it" environment
  • Have an Agile background, TDD and / or BDD
  • Enjoy mentoring, following current Development Trends, adopting new best practice and strive to continual improve and innovate
    • You would benefit from:
  • POC experience
  • Experience in Leading on projects
  • Would benefit from any of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular TypeScript, C#, C++, Python, SQL
