BI Lead looking after BI estate, datawarehouse and reporting systems for a global publishing house based in Glasgow, managing a team of two BI Analysts.Client DetailsGlobal publishing business with sites throughout the UK with Business Intelligence and Data operations managed from Glasgow.DescriptionResponsible for maintaining the BI application stack, mainly Microsoft SQL Server-based; developing reporting solutions; monitoring key data flows and integrations with other ERP, supply chain and finance systems. They provide support to end users to investigate and resolve issues and queries with business data.Accountable for BI data quality, availability and confidentiality, and ensuring the teams portfolio of data services meet business needs. To achieve this, they will maintain close relationships with senior stakeholders in Finance, Sales and colleagues in other reporting and analytics functions across our international business. They will collect and evaluate perceptions of the quality of service with stakeholders and collaborate with them on the design and execution of service improvement.Also responsible for developing a technical strategy for data operations, that can be executed though planned and managed projects, in addition to the day to day activities.Profile
