TEMPEST PHOTOGRAPHY are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people, preferably with experience photographing in schools.Large Group PhotographerLocation: Between Glasgow and Edinburgh / Central Belt of ScotlandSalary: £21k which is subject to review in April each yearTerm: Full Time, PermanentThe Role:An exciting opportunity to join our team of professional photographers located right across the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Photographer to join our Large Rig division.Additionally, the role will entail: Traveling to photographic shoots/sessions - primarily in Scotland but also in Northern Ireland and other parts of the UK as required. General administrative duties - articulacy, arithmetic, writing & computer skills are therefore essential Studio photography, ranging from children all the way through to grandparentsTraining will be provided on all aspects of the job including studio and location photography.The Company:Tempest Photography (H. Tempest Ltd) is a family-owned business specialising in portrait and group photographs for the Education sector - schools and universities - and not forgetting the UKs uniformed services. The companys head office and production facilityis based near the picturesque town of St Ives in Cornwall and is staffed by up to 250 employees.In addition, the company employs around 300 photographers throughout the UK.Essential attributes of ideal candidate: Flexibility in working times as early starts/late finishes is inevitable during term-time as well as overnight stays. Good standard of basic fitness: There will be physical work involved when erecting and dismantling our pyramid staging and carrying photographic equipment from shoot to shoot. Attention to detail when recording information either before or after the shoot is essential, worksheets and any other company documentation. Basic knowledge of and enthusiasm for photography.Other matters All shortlisted candidates must be willing to undergo a DBS (CRB) check prior to employment (or provide verifiable details of any previous such checks undertaken within the last 12months, plus a basic security check and provide two referees.
