Job Description

Perhaps this is why 93% of our people would recommend SThree as a place to work.What will you be doingThe L&D Instructional Designer will partner with the business to leverage subject matter expertise and create highly engaging learning content. They will work as part of the global design team and regional L&D functions to create a one team approach to learning at SThree.Responsibilities include, but not be limited too:Learning Design & Delivery

  • Execute the instructional design processes ensuring the use of current technology enabled solutions, to deliver high quality training products within specified budgets and timelines.
  • Apply current and proven instructional design processes and procedures to reach the course objectives.
  • Clearly and succinctly convey learning content in a manner that engages learners and promotes understanding and retention.
  • Ensure all products are produced in line with the SThree design processes and procedures.
  • Provide insight and expertise from content and development practices in preparing instructors and SMEs for successful delivery irrespective of the modality designed in.
  • Customer Service & Stakeholder Management
  • Interact with a network of internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SME) and other instructional designers to design innovative products in alignment with global
  • Support the design of modern agile products through the use of third parties such as internal and external stakeholders and SMEs
  • Analysis, Insight & Reporting
  • Set the criteria used to evaluate learners performance and develops assessment instruments
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure legal regulatory & compliance topics are threaded through all content
  • What skills/experience are we seeking
  • TAP/CIPD/ATD (or regional equivalent) qualification in L&D (Preferable)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in online design/development.
  • Strong demonstrable background in Learning and Development with excellent knowledge of learning methodologies
  • Significant Instructional design experience in the creation of both online and blended Learning solutions
  • Expert knowledge of SCORM standards, current L&D technical specifications and latest authoring tools.
  • Experience with creating story boarding and supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, digital games etc.)
  • Significant experience of digital learning design build and/or knowledge.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems, and curriculum/training management systems, and ability to bridge technological platforms for the purpose of content creation and assessment.
  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of learning materials.
  • Stakeholder management both internal and external to include collaborating with digital designers, subject matter experts, video producers and developers.
