The business generated £2 billion turnover last year, employs over 3,000 people and has over 20 regional distribution centres throughout the UK.They are recruiting a Key Account Manager to take on the management responsibility for a portfolio of major accounts across the central belt.The main purpose of the Key Account Manager is to manage, develop and enhance critical relationships with universities, NHS Trusts, hotel chains, major pub groups and care home groups. Managing a portfolio of circa £5 million the Key Account Manager willwork closely with buying groups and consortia associated with these major clients in order to facilitate their clients growth and profitability for the business.They are ideally looking for a dynamic and passionate sales professional who has strong commercial awareness with a customer-centric ethos to drive service excellence, growth and profit.This is a fantastic time to be joining the team as the business continues to invest heavily in future growth and development.An ideal Key Account Manager would have the following experience:
