Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a Start-Up Fintech company who are currently in stealth mode. The company is based in London and specialise in the debt capital market sector. The company are profitable already and have huge financial backingfrom some of the largest investment banks in the world and are now looking to expand the UK team rapidly. They are looking to seriously disrupt the debt market and have some excellent traction already, doing over 15Billion dollars worth of transactions ontheir platform since they started.They are looking for a Mid - Senior Java Developer who will play a crucial role within the company as you will be one of the first hires in the UK. You will be 100% hands on coding but will have significant progression opportunities. You will be workingacross the full SDLC and will take part in everything from designing, developing, testing new features, and adding modules to their platform.This role would suit someone who is heavily interested in joining a start-up company and has worked in a similar fast-paced environment. You will be the type of developer who has proven experience of joining a company in the early stages and helping developit into a larger organisation.The company have a friendly and inclusive environment with everyone getting on and all striving for the same goal, to make a billion dollar company and make the best platform for the debt market world.Some of the companys clients include: JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley BlackRock and Santander.The companys technology stack includes: Java, Springboot, MySQL, AWS, AngularJS, ReactJS, Kafka, RabbitMQ and REST.Skills required:- Excellent Java experience (5-10 Years exp)- Spring/Springboot- Hibernate- RESTHighly Desirable:- Experience in wealth management/Finance/Trading- Experience with a start-up company- Experience with AWS (will also consider Azure or GCP)- Security knowledge (user authentication, access control)- Git or a similar version control- CI/CD experience- Personal side projectsThe salary on offer for this position is up to £100,000 + Equity.If you think you meet the criteria, then click Apply Now!
