Job Description

IT Technical Analyst x3Fully remote with office visit once a month in Glasgow6 month contract - likely to have options at end of contract£270/day inside IR35In this the role you will be responsible for supporting the groups Security Operations Incident response function. This function directly manages Cyber Incidents, Data Loss, retrieval and preservation of data in response to data subject access requests, securityincidents, the discovery phase of litigations and supporting the activities of the Security Operations and the wider company. There are 3 roles available split in to Incident Response, SOC and Identify & Access Governance (IAC) teams. This role in a nutshell/ Day to day youll be doing:

  • Manage the Data Loss Prevention tools and operations queues
  • Develop and manage the operations KIs / MI to support oversight
  • Manage any escalations for Cyber Incidents
  • Assisting with Identity Access and Governance tasks to ensure we operate a zero trust model
  • Assist with Audit activities and attestation cycles
Experience Required:
  • Data loss awareness and mitigating controls Awareness of Cyber Security and willing to develop this knowledge
  • Good problem and analytical skills to investigate complex issues
  • Demonstrable expertise in using Microsoft Office applications Strong team worker but having the ability to be self-directed on task completion
  • Highly motivated, demonstrating a professional can do attitude Excellent attention to detail
  • Fabulous interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge or understanding of Data loss, eDiscovery, Forensics and Cyber Incidents
  • Understand and managing risk for Security Operations Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for deliverables
  • A passion to develop Cyber Skills to help protect the bank Clear evidence of ability to prioritise multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment Experience of developing or enhancing procedural documentation
  • Experience of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Centre
  • Experience of Microsoft Defender alerting and investigations in Microsoft 365
  • Skilled in developing operational procedures and supporting documentation
